Lemon Layer Cake (GF)
One for the citrus-lover in your life. A light lemon gluten-free sponge, moistened with lemon syrup (think lemon drizzle - yum), built together with 2 layers of buttercream and lemon curd. Sunshine on a plate! A standard cake is 9" cake and serves 14.

Best Before
Most products will keep fresh for up to 5 days at an ambient temperature.
Postal items come wrapped with a 5-day best before from the day of delivery.
Storage
Round cakes are provided in cardboard cake boxes. Brownies and traybakes are pre-portioned, wrapped and provided in paper bags.
Where possible, our cakes should be kept in an airtight container. Products finished with buttercream, chocolate ganache or cream cheese icing should be kept in the fridge, away from strong odours like onion, garlic, strong cheese and fish.

Took a bit of tracking down on the outskirts of Canterbury as this baker has no customer facing shop as such. But ordering online was a doddle, and they even accommodated my request to collect early. But my goodness what a cake! Had to be gluten free - and my Coeliac friend said it was the best they had ever tasted. Moist - VERY lemony whilst not being over sweet and was still fresh the following day. Didn't last longer than that as everyone had seconds. We added some candles and it made the perfect birthday cake. Highly recommended. Now I just need to work my way through the rest of their range....
